Local Rules
OUT OF BOUNDS (Rule 27)
Beyond all boundary fences and walls surrounding the course. To the left of the 1st hole beyond the white markers.
INTEGRAL PARTS OF THE COURSE (Rule 28)
Clubhouse, all boundary fences, walls, pylons and bridges.
WATER HAZARDS (Rule 26)
The burn and ponds at the 1st and the burn at the 2nd defined by the red posts are lateral water hazards.
The pond and the burn at the 3rd and 17th defined by yellow posts is a water hazard.
IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS (Rule 24.2)
All roads, artificially surfaced paths and winter tees.
All staked trees.
All fixed course furniture, plantation marker posts and plantation fences. All water hydrant boxes, Observation platforms and red/white direction markers.GROUNDS UNDER REPAIR (Rule 25.1)
A ball coming to rest on the following MUST be lifted and dropped without penalty:
Areas on newly planted trees defined by blue posts and/or signs. Areas defined by blue stakes, closed white lines and/or GUR signs. All seeded areas including seeded divot marks. All newly turfed areas. Vehicle tyre tracks.
A ball striking the overhead powerlines at the 1st, 2nd, 11th or 14th MUST be replayed. (Rule 20.5)
A ball coming to rest on an exposed rock may be lifted and dropped without penalty. (Rule 25.1)
Stones may be removed from bunkers. (Rule 24.1)
PENALTY FOR BREACH OF LOCAL RULE
Match Play - Loss of hole / Stroke Play - 2 Strokes
The boundaries on the west side of the 11th and 14th fairways must not be crossed
